liverlifefree

I attend the Scottish Liver Transplant as an outpatient. I got a liver transplant on April 14th 2005; I started this blog, as a kind of thank you to the staff at the hospital who gave me a liver transplant and a thank you to the family whose loss helped me live, which hopefully will encourage other people to sign the donor register. Take a look at my blog and what I’ve been up to since my Transplant.
Donor Organs are in short supply, In the UK; there is at least a 5 year waiting list to have a liver or other transplant and that if you’re lucky enough to be accepted onto the waiting list. Most people asked say they would donate their organs but never get round to signing the donor register or don’t know where or how to.
Well you can’t take them with you, so if you’d like to sign the donor register and you’re on the internet reading this, you can sign up online
Type in Donor Register to your Search Engine and it will find the one for your country.
